In re-branding recently, I’ve pondered so many titles -- Evolve Your Path, Meg’s Musings, Purposeful Pursuits, Becoming Otherwise. What is it that actually sticks? What is it that resonates with me, with others?
At the end of the day, one might say a title doesn’t actually matter all that much — but I’d argue that it does. The brand we choose to associate with, the words we see in front of us each day, or even for a mere moment across our screen — all of it matters.
Words are, in fact, valuable and are the way in which we make sense of the world, of ourselves. In considering this re-brand on a deeper level, I wanted it to go beyond action, beyond the actual evolution of one’s path, trail, or journey, into a realm that focuses on Becoming Otherwise — becoming a human who you or others might not have otherwise been able to predict, plan, or determine. Becoming more of yourself, perhaps in a way that you haven’t yet discovered.
And so, in turn, this newsletter takes its shape — perhaps the podcast will follow suit. In the meantime, my hope is that I can share my own experiences, and those of clients (with permission) to inspire you to Become Otherwise. It’s what we all need most right now — becoming more of ourselves, without the expectations, predictions, or formalities. Becoming more of ourselves, because what the world needs is people who have come alive, by taking a turn back to their truest nature.
